This policy explains what information Line Wards ("the app", "we", "us") collects when you play, why we collect it, and who we share it with. Line Wards is developed by Line Wards Games and is available on iOS and Android.
We collect the following categories of information:
| Sign-in & account identity | If you choose to sign in, we use Google Sign-In (iOS) or Google Play Games Services (Android) to authenticate you. This gives us a basic Google account identifier (such as your Google account ID and, depending on your account settings, your email address) which we use, via our backend provider PlayFab, to create and recognize your player account across sessions and devices. You are not required to sign in to play offline matches against computer-controlled opponents. |

| Gameplay & match data | Match results, in-game progress, and online multiplayer session data (for example, which match you joined and how it ended) are stored by our backend provider, PlayFab, so your progress and matches work correctly. |
| Diagnostics & crash data | We use Unity Technologies' built-in diagnostics service to receive crash reports and basic session information (such as session length and device/OS type) so we can find and fix bugs and stability issues. |
We do not currently show third-party advertising, and we do not currently sell in-app purchases. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated before those features go live, and the update will describe any new data collected as a result.
We rely on the following third-party services to operate the game. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers named above, to the extent necessary for them to provide the service described, and where required by law.
We retain account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the game. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below.
Line Wards is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
You can play offline without signing in. If you have signed in, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; contact us and we will respond to verified requests.
We rely on our service providers' security measures (including PlayFab/Microsoft Azure and Google) to protect data in transit and at rest, and we do not store payment information ourselves.
We may update this policy as the game changes. We will update the effective date above when we do, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
